F.P.JOURNE PRESENTS THE FIRST EDITION OF GSTAAD-ART SALON
Gstaad, 17th and 18th February, 2024

F.P.Journe is pleased to support the first edition of Gstaad-Art, a new Swiss Salon for modern art, contemporary art, and design. Set under the enchanting canopy of the Festival-Zelt, the event will feature around 20 leading international galleries, joining established names Hauser & Wirth and Gagosian, who have a permanent presence in Gstaad. 

The exhibition runs from 17 to 18 February in Gstaad, with the participation of the following galeries: Air de Paris, Galerie kreo, Galerie Mitterrand, Galerie nächst St. Stephan Rosemarie Schwarzwälder, Galleria Continua, Karry Berreby, Kurimanzutto, Larkin Erdmann, Laurent Godin, Mennour, Nathalie Obadia, Perrotin, Philippe Cramer, Raphaël Durazzo, Sébastien Bertrand, Semiose, Simon Studer Art, Société and White Cube. 

Gstaad-Art will also start its “Circus” series, curated this year by Piper Marshall and Kolja Gläser with Cammisa Buerhaus and special thanks to X Zhu-Nowell, Artistic Director of the Shanghai Rockbund Museum. Titled “Artist’s scores, scenarios & instructions,” this showcase features around 60 artists, each offering a unique perspective on the artistic process, a.o. Josh Kline, Goshka Macuga, Lawrence Weiner or Chloe Wise, from galleries such as Pace, Mendes Wood or Bortolami. 

Gstaad-Art will also present special projects such as the installation “La souris et le chat” by Chinese artist Wang Du, and “Green Bird from Dreamtime” by aboriginal artist Tatali Napurrula, proposed by the Fondation Opale. 

Authenticity, rarity and talent, whose initials form “A.R.T.”, are the values that symbolise the Manufacture F.P.Journe. This acronym reflects the importance of its relationship with the artistic world, and of the partnership with Gstaad-Art.
